The first verse is one line.
The second verse is two lines.
The third verse is 3 lines etc.
1,2,3,4,5, ONCE I HEARD THE TANGATA
The human heart
for the things it has not
the sound often muffled
great egalitarian myth
means everyone must be the same
disable the able
to enable the lame
dumbing down the mind
pulling down the blind
head in sand.....
fed the bird at hand
when the future was in the bush.
