Synergy is the key
to poetry

This is a concrete or visual poem.
The shape two of the phrases make, anchor meaning to the words - a canoe and a pyramid.

WAKA HUIA SNAPSHOTS OF PICTON

Waka huia sailing by cargoing treasure
people with snapshot memories
links to other lands

Salt spray shaker, sprinkling the road
with verdant hitch-hikers
                    scanning, scanning, thumbing by.
Boar skin hill with fire grazed stubble chin
prickled high against
                    blue, blue, feathered sky.
Silent boats gazing down
reflecting on fluid mirrors
                    still, still, chrystal waters.
Sphinx
mountain pyramids
dipping down to lynx the Sounds.

Treasure box snapshots
reflections to reflect upon
linking files to Picton.
